The DULRobotics Creator Program is how training modules become abilities other people can install on their bots. You build and submit the module; we review it, publish it to the catalog, and pay you 75% of the selling price every time it sells. You propose the price — DULRobotics approves or adjusts it.
What an ability is
An ability is any approved training module created by a user — a trained capability, packaged so it can be installed on a compatible bot. Abilities are listed per format, so a buyer can see exactly which bot tiers one supports before installing it.
Delivery is through a Portal on the CUBELinux substrate: installing an ability means receiving a capability at a coordinate in the robot’s space, ready to use. The buyer does not rebuild a project and does not re-run training — they install a function.
What you earn
For each ability you publish, you keep 75% of the selling price; DULRobotics retains 25%. Your share is calculated on the final, approved listing price — the one shown in the catalog.
Because DULRobotics is free while in beta, abilities are free to download during that period, so the creator split applies from the moment paid listings begin. When paid listings open, the terms below are the ones that apply.
Setting the listing price
Pricing is proposed by the creator and approved or edited by DULRobotics, at its sole discretion. Two reasons drive that: to market each listing well, and to keep pricing properly aligned across comparable abilities in the catalog. The approved price is the one that applies, and your 75% is calculated from it.
How an ability is approved
Every submission goes through the same administrator-reviewed path before it reaches the catalog.
- Submit. You provide the training module and its details — name, description, the formats and bot tiers it supports, what it needs to run, and the price you propose for it.
- Administrator review. An administrator reviews it for safety, correctness, compatibility with the stated format, that the work is yours to publish, and the proposed price — approving or adjusting that price at DULRobotics’ sole discretion.
- Approve or return. Approved abilities are published to the catalog under your name, at the approved price. Returned submissions come back with the reason, so you can correct them and resubmit.
- Published & attributed. Your listing shows you as the creator, the formats it supports, and what the ability does — so a buyer knows exactly what they are installing.
- Keep it current. Updates re-enter review. You can withdraw an ability at any time, and an administrator can delist one that no longer meets the policy.
Terms in brief
These are the working terms while DULRobotics is in beta. They are deliberately provisional — we expect to adjust them as we test — and the published terms will govern once paid listings begin.
Ownership & licence
You keep ownership of your training module. By publishing it you grant DULRobotics a non-exclusive right to distribute, market, and deliver that ability to buyers through the catalog. Listings are non-exclusive: you remain free to publish your work elsewhere.
Submission requirements
- A working training module, packaged for the format or formats you are listing.
- Name, description, and the bot tiers and formats it supports.
- What it needs to run — dependencies, minimum Jetson tier, sensors.
- The price you propose for it.
- A short demonstration showing the ability working.
- Confirmation that the work is yours to publish, or that you hold the rights to it.
Review timeline
Target: an initial decision within 5 business days of submission. A returned submission can be corrected and resubmitted, and re-enters the same queue.
Getting paid
Payouts are monthly and are made through Stripe. Earnings for a calendar month are paid after that month closes, once your balance reaches $25. A statement of sales accompanies each payout, and any balance below $25 carries over to the next month. Payout details are set in your creator account.
Refunds
If a sale is refunded or charged back, the corresponding creator share is reversed with it. An ability that repeatedly fails to work as described may be delisted.
Questions & appeals
A returned submission comes back with its reason. A rejection, or a price adjustment you disagree with, can be appealed for a second review, and a delisting can be appealed once.
Changes to these terms
While DULRobotics is in beta these terms may change, and we will adjust them as testing shows what works. Material changes will be published on this page before they take effect.

The split, the pricing approach, the approval path, and the working terms above are set as logical defaults — we will adjust them as testing shows what works.
